Keanu Reeves is one of the most famous actors of our time. You probably already saw him performing in movies such as The Matrix, Constantine, and John Wick. Keanu was born in Beirut, Lebanon, to Patricia Taylor and Samuel Nowlin Reeves, Jr. His mother worked as a showgirl while his father was a geologist. The two got married in 1964 but divorced two years later due to Samuel’s addiction to alcohol and drugs. Samuel and Patricia had two children together, Keanu and Kim. However, after their divorce, they both had other partners and kids.
Keanu now has a total of three siblings and stepsisters. While some of them decided to follow in their older brother’s footsteps and pursue an acting career, others preferred to keep their life private and stay away from media attention.

Kim Reeves is Keanu’s oldest sibling. She was born in September 1966 and is currently 56 years old. Kim came into the world in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia and she shares the same mother and father as Keanu. Unfortunately, her parents divorced when she was still very young.
She, therefore, had to move together with her older brother and her mother to NYC before settling in Canada. Kim reported that the divorce had an impact on her mental health, especially due to the fact that her mother kept dating different men throughout her childhood. Similarly to her older brother, Kim decided to pursue an acting career. She did her debut as an actress in the movie Samurai Vampire Bikers from Hell, released in 1992.
After this experience, Kim wrote, produced and acted in the film Love Don’t Come Easy, a romantic comedy that came out in 2002. Unfortunately, after this movie, Kim was diagnosed with Leukemia and had to quit her job. Following the terrible news, Keanu was shocked. He soon donated several million to a variety of charity organizations in the hope to help his sister in her battle. After a total of ten years of fighting this awful illness, Kim was finally declared cancer-free.
