3. Ezequiel Fernandez (2003 – present)

Ezequiel Fernandez is Gabriel’s oldest sibling, as he was born in 2003. He is the son of Pearl Fernandez and Arnold Contreras, who divorced due to domestic violence. His father was a tattoo artist with several charges against him.

Ezequiel was unfortunately there when his little brother lost his life. He was, in fact, the one who led the paramedics into the apartment soon after Gabriel stopped breathing.
During Aguirre’s trial, he also revealed that his mother and her boyfriend asked him to declare that he was playing with Gabriel when his brother tragically died. Ezequiel testified against Gabriel’s father during his trial even though he could not remember too many details as he declared, ‘I just don’t want to remember it.’
2. Virginia Fernandez (2005 – present)

Virginia is Gabriel Fernandez’s youngest sibling, as she was born in 2005 and is currently 17 years old. Unfortunately, like her brother Ezequiel, Virginia was also present during her brother’s murder. After the tragic fall, she was asked to clean his blood from the floor.

Gabriel Fernandez was born in February 2005 and was murdered in May 2013 at the young age of 8 years old. Soon after his birth, Gabriel was put in custody of his great-uncle, Micheal Lemos Carranza, and his partner David Martinez.
Together, they raised the kid for a total of four years. However, in 2009, Gabriel was relocated to his grandparents’ house due to their objection to same-sex marriage. Gabriel lived in this house until 2012, when Pearl and Isauro regained custody of the kid.
Gabriel spent only eight months with his biological parents. During this period, he was tortured and abused until his death in 2013. According to records, he was often beaten, which caused some of his bones to break.
Gabriel was also forced to eat cat litter, feces, vomit, and expired food. Pearl and Isauro often burned Gabriel with cigarettes, shot him with a BB gun in several areas of his body, among which his groin and face pepper-sprayed him, and forced him to wear women’s clothes.
On top of this, they made him sleep gagged inside a small cupboard and had his teeth knocked out with a bat. His siblings declared that their parents often laughed while their brother was being tortured.

Both Pearl and Isauro were charged and convicted of first-degree murder. Fernandez was sentenced to life in prison, while her partner was sentenced to death.
