3 Todoroki’s Siblings Ranked Oldest To Youngest

If you’re a big fan of manga, you have probably already read My Hero Academia. Written and illustrated by Kōhei Horikoshi, this manga was first published in the summer of 2014. The story follows Izuku Midoriya, a young boy born without a quirk, a term referring to a particular superpower. Despite this, Izuku is motivated to become a superhero and managed to catch the attention of All Might, one of the legendary heroes in the manga. My Hero Academia is now considered a success and has been featured several times on The New York Times bestseller list.

One of the main characters in the series is Shoto Todoroki. This young guy is a student in Class 1-A at U.A. High School, where he trains to become a Pro Hero. He is the youngest son of Enji and Rei Todoroki and has a total of three siblings, two brothers and a sister. If you would like to know more about his family, this is the article for you.

Toya Todoroki is Shoto’s oldest sibling, as he was born in 1996.

Throughout his childhood, Toya is depicted as an energetic kid eager to learn everything from his father. It was, in fact, Enji who pushed him to surpass the No 1 Pro Hero at the time, All Might.

Toya soon becomes obsessed with this idea and starts to train constantly, severely burning himself in the process. His dream quickly transforms into an unhealthy obsession.

Toya is depicted as a tall and pale man with white hair. However, his most recognisable features are, without a doubt, the gnarled patches of purple skin covering most of his lower face and neck. These are also present around his torso as well as on his arms and legs and are the result of his inability to properly control his quirk when he was young. The patches of skin appear to be attached to the rest of his body by surgical staples and hoop piercings.

Toya manages to survive after being completely incinerated by his own flames and spending three years in a state of coma. This results in his body’s inability to properly detect pain.

Later in life, Toya meets Stain and gets intrigued by his ideology. After this, he soon decides to join the League of Villains. Together with his teammates, he takes part in the Forest Training Camp Arx, Pro Hero Arc, and the Paranormal Liberation War Arc. While serving in the league, Toya kills over 30 people acquiring a reputation as one of its most powerful murderers.

Toya primarily fights from a distance, by shooting fireballs and releasing bursts of fire as well as flamethrower attacks. When trying to defend himself, he either incinerates his enemies’ attacks or creates walls of fire surrounding him. His flames are blue, however when he was young, they were bright red, similar to his father’s ones. Toya has the ability to fly and hover in the air. He is also very resistant to cold and ice-based attacks, a skill he inherited from his mother.

2. Fuyumi Todoroki (December 6, 1998 – present)

Fuyumi Todoroki is Shoto’s oldest and only sister, as she was born in 1998, on the same day as Mahoro Shimano’s birthday, the 6th of December.

She has turquoise eyes, gray in the anime, and white hair with a few red streaks.

Fuyumi is a kind-hearted character who always takes care of others. In fact, while her mother was away from home, she is represented taking care of her younger brother, Shoto. Not by chance, Fuyumi works as a teacher in an elementary school. She has good relationships with both her younger brothers as well as with her mother, who she often visits in the hospital.

Unlike her siblings, Fuyumi doesn’t have the same resentment toward her father, and she dreams of reestablishing a good connection among all her family members.

She often worries about her family and is represented in great distress after seeing her father’s injuries following his fight with Hood. She also visibly panics when Shoto comes back following Katsuki’s rescue and gets incredibly worried after learning that Natsuo had been kidnapped by a villain.

Fuyumi also has a teasing side, as she makes fun of his younger brother Natsuo for having a secret girlfriend during college.

Fuyumi’s name includes the Japanese characters for both ‘winter’ and ‘beauty’. Not by chance, her quirk is ice, which she inherited from her mother. Fuyumi loves the winter and, according to her brother Natsuo, she cannot stand hot weather.

Fuyumi’s favorite pastimes are soap operas and eating ice cream.

Fuyumi is an excellent chef. In fact, she was the one replacing the family’s maid after she hurt her back and retired. Fuyumi has cooked for the whole household ever since.

1. Natsuo Todoroki (July 1, 2003 – present)

Natsuo is Shouto Todoroki’s youngest sibling, as he was born in 2003 and is currently 19 years old. He shares the same birthday with Hitoshi Shinso, on the 1st of July.

Natsuo is a college student studying medical welfare. He has white hair and grey eyes and is 181 cm tall. When he was young, he was depicted with streaks of red hair, similarly to his sister Fuyumi. However, his hair turned completely white with age.

Natsuo has an easygoing personality and deeply cares about his family. Unlike his sister, Natsuo never forgave his father for his actions. He considers him responsible for the forced separation of Shoto as a child as well as Rei’s hospitalization. He also considers his father accountable for Toya’s life path, something that truly hurts him as the two were very close in their childhood years. Natsuo’s resentment for his father is not too surprising, as Enji is often depicted neglecting his children and deeming them as failures.

Even though Enji is now trying to become a better man, Natsuo has difficulties forgiving his actions and has a hard time keeping calm whenever the two are in the same room.

Natsuo’s name contains the Japanese characters for ‘masculine’ and ‘summer’. Despite this, similarly to his sister, his quirk is ice. Natsuo loves the sea and eating sashimi.
