David Dorbik may not be a movie celebrity, but he’s surely known on Youtube! With over 18 million subscribers, he is one of the most successful YouTubers in the history of the platform to this day.
Born in 1996 in Košice, Slovakia, his parents moved to Vernon Hills, Illinois, when he was only six years old. Before starting his own Youtube channel in 2015, David was part of a YouTube group known as Second Class. His channel became known all over the world only in recent years and in 2019 he was named on YouTube Rewind as the fifth-most-viewed creator on the platform, with over 2.4 billion views.
David’s mother has Hungarian origins, while his father is from Slovakia. His name is Pavo Dobrik and works as a photographer. Unfortunately, no information is available about David’s mother, who prefers to keep her identity private.

Ester Dobrik is David’s oldest sibling. She was born in 2004 and is currently 18 years old.
Inspired by her brother’s success, Ester decided to open a YouTube channel called SimplyEster. However, the channel is now no longer live.
Ester also opened an account on musical.ly, the precursor of Tik Tok. Here she posted dances and lip-sync videos, as well as gymnastic content.
Ester has an Instagram account, but she doesn’t seem to be too interested in her social media pages. In fact, the last time she posted a picture was in December 2018. Ester was a cheerleader during high school, but we do not know whether she continued this passion after her graduation.
