Lyssa Chapman’s Siblings Ranked Oldest to Youngest

Lyssa Chapman’s 10 Siblings Ranked Oldest to Youngest

Lyssa Chapman is best known for her association with America’s most infamous reality television bounty hunter, Duane “Dog” Chapman.

In fact, he might have been the only bounty hunter on cable television, which is why he and his family gained so much notoriety during the show’s syndication between 2004 and 2012.

Chapman was a mainstay in the show alongside her father as his partner in crime, riding along with poppa “Dog” as they tracked down and captured wanted fugitives. Bounty hunting became the Chapman family business, with several of Lyssa’s siblings enlisting to take part in their lucrative version of vigilante justice.

Today we wanted to take a closer look at Lyssa and the brothers and sisters that make up the controversial Chapman bunch as we rank Lyssa Chapman’s siblings from oldest to youngest!

Wesley Chapman is the son of Duane Chapman and Ann M. Tengell. His childhood wasn’t a particularly charmed one. He’s described his childhood as “full of pain and fear.” It wasn’t until he was 38-years-old that he had an opportunity to reconnect with his father for the first time since childhood.

In 2019, when he re-introduced himself into the Chapman family, he said:

“Having my dad in my life has been a dream, and many years ago, I decided that if it happened, I would have zero expectations.”

Wesley and his wife, Jodie Chapman, operate a ranch in Idaho for vacation rentals. He currently has two children – Chloe and Peyton.

James Chapman and Wesley grew up together, apart from Duane and the rest of the family after Duane’s divorce from Anne.

They’ve held a strong relationship since childhood due to the shared trauma experienced at the hands of their stepfather. Though Wesley reconnected with Duane, it’s unclear if Wesley has done the same. Personal and professional information on James is unknown.

The incident occurred around the time when Duane was to marry Lyssa. They decided to repurpose their wedding as a ceremony for their marriage and a celebration of life for their daughter.

Barbara is survived by her son Travis Chapman.

4. Tucker Chapman (September 8, 1983 – Present)

Age (as of November 2022): 39 years, 1 months, 30 days
Born: Denver, Colorado
Occupation: N/A
Known For: Dog the Bounty Hunter

Tucker Chapman is the son of Duane Chapman and Lyssa Rae Brittain. Information on his life is unknown apart from run-ins with the law as a teenager for drug possession and armed robbery. He served a four-year sentence before being bailed out by his dad.

Tucker made national headlines when he released an audio recording of a conversation between him and Duane. He expressed his disapproval of his son dating an African-American woman, which unfortunately culminated in Duane demonstrating his contempt with racial slurs.

He sold the tape to the National Enquirer for $15,000. The incident did significant damage to Duane and his entire brand. It was canceled as a result.

We should note that the then-disgraced bounty hunter released a statement, clarifying that his disapproval was not due to her race but because of his concern that she might be a bad influence on Tucker, who was already a target for law enforcement due to his checkered past.

Lyssa Chapman is the daughter of Duane Chapman and Lyssa Rae Brittain. At 10-years-old, she and her mother packed up and moved to Alaska, leaving her with no contact with her father for six years. When she returned, she worked for the family bail bonds company Da Kine Bail Bonds.

She’s known for her appearances on Dog the Bounty Hunter. Given how unconventional a life Lyssa and the entire Chapman crew have had, Lyssa wrote an autobiography peeling back the curtain on her journey, titled Walking on Eggshells: Discovering Strength and Courage Amid Chaos, in 2013.

Bonnie Chapman is the youngest of the Chapman siblings at 23-years-old!

Unfortunately, it looks like the youngest of the bounty-hunting bunch doesn’t maintain a good relationship with her step-father, the patriarchal figure of the Chapman family.

In 2021, she released a statement via Twitter explaining the reason she wasn’t invited to Duane and Francie’s wedding was due to her involvement in the social justice and BLM movement. She also condemned her father’s use of racial slurs and outed her father for having cheated on her late mother, Beth, while she was battling cancer.

Other family members came to Duane’s defense, but a rift between the family remains today.
