The Hwang siblings is a term used to refer to the two K-pop stars YeJi and Hyunjin. Even though the two have the same surname, Hwang, they are not related by blood. Nonetheless, they share tons of similarities. For instance, YeJi serves as the leader of the group ITZY, while Hyunjin is the leader of the boy band Stray Kids. But that’s not all!

Hyunjin was born in 2000 and is now 22 years old. He works as the main dancer, lead rapper, and sub-vocalist of Stray Kids.
Also known as Jinnie, Jin, the Prince, Drama Llama, and Night Fury, Hyunjin grew up with his pet dog, Kkami, in Seoul. He sometimes visited LA with his mother, and it was here that he was scouted by JYP Entertainment, officially becoming one of their trainees.
Soon after being scouted, Hyunjin appeared in the reality show Stray Kids together with the famous ITZY’s YeJi. Hyunjin studied at SOPA (School of Performing Arts) and attended several lessons in Practical Dance.
Unfortunately, when Hyunjin was still a teenager, he lost his beloved pet. This was an incredibly traumatic experience for him that left him devastated. However, at the age of 16, after dealing with grief, he decided to get another dog which he called Kkami.
Hyunjin is very popular on social media pages and has almost 400k followers on his Instagram account. Talking about his hobbies, he enjoys drawing, reading, and playing sports. He also loves food, particularly sushi and all kinds of fruits, except persimmons. Hyunjin is not a huge fan of vegetables and cannot stand onions, carrots, and eggplants.
Regarding his ideal type, Hyunjin said he’s looking for someone who “Would listen to my worries well and can empathize to them as if it’s their own worries.”

YeJi is the youngest of the Hwang Siblings, as she was born in May 2000 and is now 22 years old.
YeJi was born in Seoul but grew up in Jeonju, the 16th largest city in Korea. Unlike Hyunjin, YeJi has an older sister; however, not much is known about her. In 2015, she made her debut in the tv drama Twenty Again; the following year, she became a JYP Entertainment trainee.
Talking about her tastes, YeJi’s favorite color is black, and she also enjoys snacks and chocolate. Similarly to her bandmate, she also loves animals and has a puppy called Hongsam. In 2019, YeJi was ranked 86th on TC Candler’s 100 most beautiful faces.
Unfortunately, YeJi suffers from a condition called atopy, which results in the development of hypersensitivity reactions to allergens. Because of this, she risked her life at three years old when a simple cold turned into pneumonia, osteomyelitis, and sepsis. As a result, YeJi had to go through a minor procedure and spend a whole year in the hospital.
