Ross Lynch is one of the members of the famous Lynch family. Together with his siblings, he has toured the whole world as a member of the R5 band. Born and raised in Littleton, his family moved to Los Angeles in 2007.
Here, together with his siblings, he started to audition for several commercials, movies, and tv series with enormous success. Ross was born to Stormie and Mark Lynch and has a total of three brothers and one sister.
The siblings are very close to each other as they spent most of their teenage years together on tour. They all love music and acting and had to deal with fame from a very young age. 5. Riker Lynch (November 8, 1991 – present)

Riker Lynch is Ross’ oldest sibling. He was born in 1991 and is currently 30 years old. After settling on the name Riker, the Lynch parents decided to give all their children names starting with the letter ‘R’.
Ryker works as an actor and musician. His first important role in the entertainment industry came with the series Glee on Fox. He was in fact cast as Jeff, one of the members of the Dalton Academy Warblers singing group.
Riker had his debut in the second season of the series and later appeared in an extra eleven episodes in the second, third, and fourth seasons. But Riker’s experience with Glee did not end there. In 2011, he also took part in the Glee Live! In Concert! tour.
Apart from his acting career, in 2009, Riker started to play with his siblings in the band R5. He maintained the role of the lead singer from its inception till its last performance.
Less than a year after the end of the Glee Live! In Concert! tour, Riker announced the R5 had signed a record deal with Hollywood Records and was about to start its first tour.
Riker has also participated in the 20th edition of Dancing with the Stars during which he was paired with Allison Holker, a professional dancer and choreographer.
The couple arrived second as they were defeated by Rumer Willis. Riker made a second appearance on the show in the 27th season to be a trio partner to Witney Carson and Milo Manheim.
4. Rydel Lynch (August 9, 1993 – present)

Rydel Lynch is Ross’ only sister. Similarly to her older brother Riker, she also works as an actor and musician.
Rydel made her debut in Sunday School Musical as a member of the Crossroads Choir. After this first experience, she was cast as a cheerleader, together with her brother Riker, for the American girl group School Gyrls for which she worked for some time.
Thanks to her acting career, Rydel also got the chance to appear in several films and tv series such as A Day as Holly’s Kids, released in 2011, Bunheads, a comedy-drama focusing on ballet, and Violetta, an Argentine telenovela filmed in Buenos Aires.
Together with her siblings, Rydel also performed with the band R5. She was the mind behind songs such as ‘Sometime Last Night’ and ‘Lightning Strikes’. The latter was regularly performed on the Sometime Last Night tour.
Apart from this, Rydel appeared in the R5 movie All Day, All night, together with her brothers and appeared in Taylor Mathews’s music video for the song ‘Head Over Feeling’.
3. Rocky Lynch (November 1, 1994 – present)

Rocky Lynch was born in 1994 and is currently 26 years old. Similarly to his siblings, he played in the band R5 from 2009 to 2018, mainly as a guitarist.
R5 released its first EP called Ready Set Rock in March 2010. However, the EP had to be removed after one of the members of the band, Ross, was cast for a role in Austin and Ally on the Disney Channel Show.
Roughly three years later, the band released another EP, Loud. A few months afterwards, the band’s first album, titled Louder, was also released. This soon turned out to be a success and peaked at 24 on the Billboard 200.
In July 2015, the band released its second album, Sometime Last Night. This was even more successful than the previous one and peaked at 6 on the US Billboard 200. The record also reached the top 20 in five other countries!
During its active years, the R5 produced eleven singles, five EPs, and a documentary called R5: All Day, All Night.
2. Ross Lynch (December 29, 1995 – present)

Ross Lynch was born in December 1995 and is currently 26 years old. He was educated at home, where he learned to play guitar and piano.
In 2011, Ross was chosen as one of the main characters of Austin & Ally, a Disney Channel sitcom. The series had a total of four seasons and ended in January 2016.
Two years later, while performing with the R5, he was also chosen to voice Piers, a character in the animated film Snowtime!
That same year, Ross starred as Mark Anthony, in a musical directed and choreographed by Baayork Lee called A Chorus Line. He also took part in movies, such as Status Update, in which he played the role of a teenager who downloads a magical app which causes all his social media status updates to come true.
Ross loves music and plays several instruments ranging from piano to drums and guitar. He released his first single ‘A Billion Hits’ in 2012 and a few months later he published his second soundtrack single called ‘Heard It on The Radio’. He also got to sing several songs for the series Austin & Ally.
Similarly to his siblings, Ross played in his family band R5 until 2018. In fact, in May of this year, the band posted a video on YouTube titled ‘The Last Show’.
A month later they deleted all their previous posts both on Twitter and Instagram and changed the handles to ‘the Driving Era’. This new band is now composed of only Ross and Rocky.

Ryland is Ross Lynch’s youngest sibling as he was born in 1997 and is currently 25 years old. Unlike his siblings, he was not an official member of the R5 band, despite his interest in music.
Not surprisingly, Ryland works in the music industry as a DJ. At times he has also performed with R5 and went on tour with them but, as we mentioned above, he was never an official member.
Ryland worked as a child actor taking part in commercials such as Kids Bop and series including the Nickelodeon show.
