Trulan Arthur Eyre had a long and fascinating career in the Air Force. His flying career began after he graduated from the United States Air Force Academy, and he received his commission from the United States Air Force in 1979. 

After serving in multiple kinds of operations and working as a commander at different operation levels, he went on to serve as the F-16 European Demonstration pilot for the United States Air Force. A few years later, he served as the US Embassy’s Air Coordination and Control Element deputy director.

Phillip Frawley is a now-retired Air Force pilot. He retired at the age of 66. His career as an AIr Force pilot saw him serve Australia for nearly 50 years, and he was one of the world’s oldest fighter pilots!

His career started when he joined the Air Force as an apprentice. He worked his way through the ranks, first becoming a fighter pilot, followed by an instructor, and eventually, a commanding officer. He flew different types of aircraft during the course of his career, and flew for the last time as an Air Force Pilot in a 76 Squadron Hawk 127 Lead-in-fighter.

Age: 103

At 103 years old, Dalip Singh Majithia is the oldest Air Force pilot, both in India and the entire world, a! Though he retired in 1947, his career in the Indian Air Force has not been forgotten. He flew solo for the first time at the young age of 20, and didn’t look back. 

He has flown several types of aircraft throughout his career, including the Hawker Audax.
