Birthplace: England, Great Britain
Profession: Curse breaker for Gringotts Bank
Bill is the oldest of Weasley’s siblings, born in 1970. Similarly to his brothers and sister, he attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, specifically from 1982 to 1989, and belonged to the Gryffindor House. During these years, Bill served as a Prefect and Head Boy.
After graduating, he moved to Egypt, where he worked as a Curse-Breaker for the Gringotts Wizarding Bank.
However, in 1995, he moved back to England to join the Order of the Phoenix. During this period, Bill met Fleur Delacour, a French quarter-Veela witch, and fell in love with her. The two dated for roughly one year, after which Bill proposed.
Bill took part in the Battle of the Astronomy Tower, which occurred on the 30th of June 1997 and resulted in the death of Albus Dumbledore. During the conflict, Bill was severely injured by the werewolf Fenrir Greyback. Following this event, he developed some werewolf tendencies and characteristics, among which he liked rare steaks.
Bill married Fleur on the 1st of August 1997, however, the wedding was not a happy one. The celebrations were interrupted by the arrival of the Death Eaters.

6. Charlie Weasley (December 12, 1972 – present)
Current Age (as of January 2023): 50 years, 1 month
Birthplace: England, Great Britain
Profession: Dragonologist
Charlie, whose actual name is Charles, was born in December 1972 and is one of the oldest Weasley siblings.
During his years at Hogwarts, he served as a Prefect and a Quidditch Captain for the Gryffindor team. Many of his friends believed he was so good at this sport that he could have chosen this as his professional career, however, he decided to opt for a different path. In fact, following his studies, he moved to Romania to work with dragons.
In early 1992, Charlie received a letter from his brother Ron asking him to help him get rid of a baby dragon called Norbert. This was a Norwegian Ridgeback that was illegally kept by Ron’s friends and Care of Magical Creatures teacher, Rubeus Hagrid. Charlie agreed to help and relocated Norbert to a dragon sanctuary in Romania, where he was working.
In the Second Wizarding War, Charlie served as a member of the Second Order of the Phoenix and also fought in the Battle of Hogwarts, which took place in 1998. During this conflict, he arrived at the last moment to bring reinforcements.
Following Voldemort’s defeat, Charlie returned to Romania to work with dragons.
Did You Know?
Unlike the rest of his siblings, Charlie never married or had children.
5. Percy Weasley (August 22, 1976 – present)
Current Age (as of January 2023): 46 years, 4 months, 21 days
Birthplace: England, Great Britain
Profession: Head of the Department of Magical Transportation
Percy Weasley was born in August 1976 and is the third son of Molly and Arthur Wasley. Similarly to his older brother Bill, he served as a Prefect and Head Boy during his years at Hogwarts.
Percy’s personality is often put in contrast with Fred and George’s.
While the famous twins spent most of their time planning pranks, Percy diligently followed the rules and was frequently outraged by their behavior. Referring to him, J. K. Rowling wrote: “Percy wouldn’t know a joke if it danced naked in front of him wearing Dobby’s tea cozy.”
Following his graduation, Percy went to work for the Ministry of Magic for the Department of International Magical Co-operation. Unfortunately, following his promotion to Minister for Magic, he had a tough time with his family.
In fact, according to his father, this was just a move from the Minister to keep tabs on the Weasley family and, consequently, on Albus Dumbledore.
Percy always denied this hypothesis, and even after the Ministry openly accepted the news of the return of the Dark Lord, he did not reconcile with his family as he was too ashamed of his past behavior.
Percy finally went back to his family following the fall of the Ministry to the Death Eaters. He later even took part in the Battle of Hogwarts, fighting next to his relatives.
Following the defeat of Voldemort, Percy decided to work for the new Minister of Magic, Kingsley Shacklebolt, in the Department of Magical Transportation. He later also met the love of his life, Audrey, and had two daughters with her, Molly and Lucy.

Fred Weasley was slightly older than his siblings George as he was the first to come out of his mother’s womb. He is one of the saga’s main characters and is present in all movies.
Fred attended Hogwarts from 1989 and 1996 when together with his brother, he decided to leave instead of waiting till graduation.
Fred served as a Beater for the Gryffindor Quidditch team, and after leaving school, he opened a joke shop called Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes in Diagon Alley with his twin George.
Similarly to most Weasley’s members, Fred joined the Order of the Phoenix and fought in the Second Wizarding War and the Battle of the Seven Potters.
He also participated in the Battle of Hogwarts, defending the castle’s passageways. Unfortunately, (spoiler alert!) he was killed by an explosion caused by a Death Eater during the conflict.

George Wasley is the youngest twin and was born on the first of April 1978. He attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and rarely separated from his brother Fred. The twins did everything together and often finished each other’s sentences.
During his fifth year, George and Fred decided to give Harry Potter a useful magical object called the Marauder’s Map. This map showed several secret passages inside Hogwarts and the footprints of the many people living in the castle.
In this way, Harry Potter always knew where everybody was. The twins decided to give the Marauder’s Map to Harry as they had already memorized most of it and believed he needed it more than they did.
In the summer of 1994, George watched the Quidditch World Cup with his family and gambled a huge amount of money on the outcome. He was extremely lucky and won; however, Ludo Bagman defaulted on the bet.
Following the death of his twin brother Fred, George appeared devastated. After years of grief, he married Angelina Johnson, with whom he had a son named Fred in his honor.
