Equanimeous St Brown’s Siblings Ranked Oldest to Youngest

Equanimeous St Brown’s 2 Siblings Ranked Oldest to Youngest

Equanimeous St. Brown is one-half of the brotherly pair that plays football at the NFL level. Joining him in his professional journey is his younger brother Amon-Ra St. Brown.

The three Brown brothers have their father, John Brown, partly to thank for their NFL-caliber genetics. He was a two-time Mr. Universe and three-time Mr. World winner, becoming one of the world’s greatest bodybuilders in what’s considered a golden era of the sport, which saw legends like Schwarzenegger and Franco Columbo competing.

Most of the media attention is for other brotherly combos like the Watt or Diggs family. For good reason! They’re fantastic football players. But that’s why we wanted to shine a light on the equally talented St. Brown brothers, who, at their young age, have plenty of life in their careers left to command respect equal to their potential.

So join us while we rank the St. Brown siblings from oldest to youngest!

Equanimeous St. Brown is a Chicago Bear after recently signing a one-year deal. The 6’5”, 214-pound receiver had his number called in the 2018 NFL Draft, selected 207th in the 6th round. For someone as competitive as Equanimeous seems to be, you can all but guarantee this put a chip on his shoulder.

Despite his disappointing ranking, we’ve learned, thanks to a little-known player named Tom Brady, that draft stock isn’t always an accurate reflection of talent.

At 25 and now with a new team looking to rebuild and find an identity, Equanimeous has a fresh canvas to showcase his ability.

He played college football at Notre Dame from 2015 to 2017, where he excelled with 123 receptions for 2,193 yards and 19 touchdowns. By his junior year, he declared for the draft. Had he stayed an extra year, all signs pointed toward a higher projection than a sixth-round pick.

St. Brown made his NFL debut for the Green Bay Packers in the first week of the 2018 season, which was unusual for a late draft pick who needs some development. He managed to impress enough to maintain a spot on the starting rotation, and in week five against the Detroit Lions, he recorded his first three catches for 89 yards.

After a solid freshman season, the realities of America’s most violent professional sport came to pass. A severe ankle sprain sidelined him for the entire 2019 season before it began.

In December 2020, St. Brown caught his first NFL touchdown and finally had a chance to enjoy his “welcome to the NFL” moment. It was a 21-yard reception from future Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers in a Sunday Night Football landslide victory against the Tennessee Titans.

Did You Know?

St. Brown’s mom, Miriam Brown, is of German descent and trilingual. Thanks to her, Equanimeous has been known by teammates as a renaissance man due to his fluency in English, German, and French. We’re yet to find out if this gives him a clear advantage on the field, but it’s another weapon in the toolkit that could turn Equanimeous into a potential star.

St. Brown earned praise when he used all three languages to announce his commitment to play collegiate football for Notre Dame in 2015. You can also find him on Instagram, where he hosts almost 100k followers.

2. Osiris St Brown (April 28, 1998 – present)

Age (as of July 22, 2022): 24
Born: Placentia, California
Occupation: Wide Receiver
Team: Stanford

Osiris St. Brown is the 24-year-old brother of Equanimeous and Amon-Ra. He is the only sibling out of the three that hasn’t made it to the NFL, but he did follow in his older brother’s footsteps as a wide receiver.

He played collegiately at Stanford and logged 474 yards on 36 catches with just one touchdown during his career.

His performance at the collegiate level, coupled with nagging injuries, eventually ended his career, and we’re unsure of what venture might be next for Osiris.

Osiris also speaks French, German, and English. Before his career at Stanford University, he enjoyed success as a 2016 Trinity League MVP, a two-time-all-county standout, a 2016 all-league standout, and a 4-star recruit, according to ESPN and PrepStar.

1. Amon-Ra St. Brown (October 24, 1999 – present)

Age (as of July 22, 2022): 22
Born: Anaheim Hills, California
Occupation: NFL Wide Receiver
Team: Detroit Lions

A post shared by Amon-Ra St. Brown (@amonra_stbrown)

Amon-Ra St. Brown is the youngest of the St. Brown siblings at 22-years-old!

Amon-Ra St. Brown was named after Amun, the supreme deity of the Egyptian religion. Inspiration for his name comes from his father’s interest in Egyptian history and African heritage.

He is a 6’0”, 197-pound wide receiver who played for USC from 2018 to 2021. Prior, he played for Mater Del High School in California, where as a senior in 2017, he logged 72 receptions for 1,320 yards and 20 touchdowns.

If you’re not privy to the high school football ranking hierarchy, we don’t blame you. It simply means he was an undisputed five-star recruit and an obvious choice for the University of Southern California.

At USC, he justified his team’s high-minded expectations of him with seven receptions for 98 yards, including a touchdown in his first game!

He put a bow on his freshman season with 60 catches, 750 yards, and three touchdowns. His sophomore season was more of the same except better, as Amon-Ra continued to develop his skill set and grow into his body.

He notched 77 receptions for 1,042 receiving yards for six touchdowns and added a rushing element to his game, which netted him 60 more yards and another touchdown.

By his junior year, the writing was on the wall. He was an obvious NFL talent. Depending on who you ask, their projections for his career are even more optimistic than his oldest brothers. In 2020, he finished with 41 receptions, 478 receiving yards, and six touchdowns in just six games. It was time to forgo his senior year and declare for the 2021 NFL Draft.

St. Brown was selected 112th in the 4th round to the Detroit Lions, where he still plays as of July 2022. He signed a four-year rookie deal with Detroit on June 17, 2021. Like any athlete out of college, adjustments and learning curves are inevitable when you find yourself face to face with veterans battle-hardened by years of blood, sweat, and sacrifice.

But by week 13 of the 2021 season, he found his footing and recorded ten receptions for 86 yards against the Minnesota Vikings, finally ending a 15-game losing streak for his club.

His performance included 35 receptions, 340 receiving yards, 26 rushing yards, and three receiving touchdowns, led all rookies in 2021 and netted him the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Month award for December.

It’s too soon to call it smooth sailing from here on out, but Amon-Ra has found his rhythm and is sitting into his role as one of Detroit’s most promising young receivers. Time will tell if he can become a cornerstone for the franchise, but you’d be hard pressed to find someone get off to a better start than that!

Did You Know?

The inspiration behind the St. Brown family names is a result of their father, who believed his name was too common. He and Miriam gave their children strong names and even changed their surname to include “St.” because they knew it would look better on an NFL jersey.

“It’s a strong name. It translates to energy, and it fits him to the T. It just sounds strong coming off your tongue – Amon-Ra … Ra!!!,” John exclaimed. “Oh, man, he’s a guy who can change the culture of a team.”
