10. David Winans Jr. (September 24, 1954 – Present)

David Winans Jr. is the eldest son of David and Delores Winans. His father was known as “Pop” Winansand in the gospel sphere and is praised as one of the greatest.
David Sr. and Delores collaborated and received a Grammy nomination in 1989 for their record “Mom & Pop Winans.”
David Jr. inherited his mom and dad’s talent and became a bassist for The Winanaires, which represented the infant stages of what would become The Winans gospel group.
David has won 10 Detroit Music Awards for Outstanding Songwriter, Outstanding Instrumentalist, and Outstanding Performance throughout his career.

David Winans Jr. was married to Deborah Winans until she passed in January 2007 due to illness. The couple had a daughter – Seven Simone.
9. Ronald Winans (June 30, 1956 – June 17, 2005)

Ronald Winans was the son of David and Delores Winans. Like the rest of his family, he gained notoriety for his time in the family gospel singing ensemble, The Winans. The group consisted of Ron, Marvin, Carvin, and Michael. They were discovered by fellow contemporary gospel singer, songwriter, and producer Andrae Crouch. Five of their albums won Grammy Awards.
In 2005, he released one last project before his death titled Ron Winans Family & Friends V: A Celebration.

8. Marvin Winans (March 5, 1958 – Present)

Marvin Winans is a gospel singer and pastor. As famous as he is as a member of The Winans, he’s perhaps even better known for his recurring role in Tyler Perry’s hit sitcom television series House of Payne.
With a great acting credit to his name, Marvin became one of the most recognizable Winans siblings.
In 2007, Marvin ventured into unfamiliar territory as a solo artist, recording Alone, But Not Alone, which was received positively among fans.
Marvin manages to stay busy, whether between his responsibilities to his family, his church as a pastor, or running his school, the Marvin L. Winans Academy of Performing Arts, founded in 1997!

Marvin Winans was married to fellow gospel singer Viviane Winans. They were married for 16 years until their divorce in 1995. They have three children, all of whom have carried the musical mantle.

Carvin Winans is the twin brother of Marvin Winans!
One of Carvin’s proudest solo accomplishments must have been his collaboration with Michael Jackson as a background vocalist for his award-winning Bad album. It was a stark departure from the sound he was used to, but it became quite a highlight on an already impressive resume.
He formed the 3 Winans Brothers with Marvin and BeBe, which featured songs produced by legendary producers like Daniel Weatherspoon and Rodney Jerkins, the latter of which was a producer for Michael Jackson’s criminally underrated Invincible album.

Daniel Winans is the son of David and Delores Winans and a Grammy Award winner for Best Soul Gospel Performance.
He’s the creative mind behind several albums and hit songs like “Tonight,” “Love Will Survive,” “Give Him Your All,” and “Running With The Vision.”
Along with his Grammy wins are three Grammy nominations. Despite his success, he still finds time to tour with his family, also known as the First Family of Gospel.
He’s a frequent performer in churches all over the globe from the United States, Africa, Europe, etc.

BeBe Winans is another addition to the gospel family. He’s released nine albums. Seven of those came from his fruitful collaboration with his sister CeCe.
Together, they’ve earned three Grammy Awards and plenty of other awards and nominations.
As a solo act, BeBe can hold his own without the harmonious relationship with his sister. He won his first Grammy for Best Soul Gospel Performance for his work on “Abundant Life,” which was featured on Ronald’s Family & Friends Choir.

CeCe Winans is the most recognizable face among a family of recognizable faces, thanks to her unique, highly coveted distinction as the best-selling female gospel artist of all time!
Along with her 15 Grammy Awards (the most for a female gospel singer), she has 28 GMA Dove Awards, 16 Stellar Awards, 7 NAACP Image Awards, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame to put the cherry on top of a legendary career that’s still active!
She has over 19 million in total sales as a solo artist, and her collaboration with BeBe did wonders in catapulting the success of her solo ventures. She wrote her memoir, On A Positive Note, in 2000.

Like how CeCe and BeBe had their sibling musical tag-team, so did Debra and Angelique.
Though they didn’t reach the same level of success, their collaboration culminated in two albums and a Soul Train Award nomination for Best New Artist in 1994.
