Caroline Manzo, previously Caroline Laurita, is one of the mainstays in the popular reality television series The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
The show premiered on the Bravo network on May 12, 2009, and marked the fourth iteration of The Real Housewives franchise. Caroline Manzo, Dina Laurita, and Jacqueline Laurita are part of the exclusive sorority as original housewives, appearing in that first season. The show is now on its 12th season.
After plenty of catfights, spilled drinks, heated arguments, and reconciliatory embraces, Caroline called it quits five seasons into the show, writing the “role has run its course.” She continued, “peace and integrity cannot be bought with money or fame.”
She developed a big enough following to get her spin-off show green-lit, Manzo’d with Children. It premiered on Bravo on October 5, 2014, making history as the first spin-off for The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Over 1.7 million viewers tuned in to watch their season debut.
Unfortunately, their early success was more like a flash in the pan. By 2017, the show was canceled before its fourth season. Manzo was offered a small reprisal role on the tenth season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey but turned it down after calling the offer “insulting.”
Manzo is married to Albert Manzo, co-owner of the event and catering company The Brownstone, based in Paterson, New Jersey. They share three children – Lauren, Albert, and Christopher.
